Who is Nadiya Bychkova? Strictly Come Dancing's sizzling new professional who has posed for Playboy
Nadiya, 27, is from the Ukraine and combines her sultry modelling with some seriously impressive dance expertise, being a two time World Champion and European Champion in Ballroom and Latin ’10’ Dance.
Proving her skills, she’s also a multiple Slovenian Ballroom and Latin Champion and previously took part in the Bosnian version of Strictly Come Dancing.
Away from the dancefloor, Nadiya’s social media account is littered with gorgeous, glamorous shots, many showing the beautiful dancer taking part in sexy modelling shoots in bikinis or lingerie.
She also shares motivational quotes with fans including one on June 3 which said: “Happiness is not a checklist. A dream job, a fast car, a good home, even love mean nothing at all if you have not yet found a way to feel full and content in your own mind and heart.”
According to The Sun , Nadiya has said of her double career: “Modelling is very closely connected with dance. Both require the art of performance and a suitable appearance.”
Nadiya is also the face of Michael Kors and an ambassador for lingerie range Lisca.
“I’m extremely happy to be joining the Strictly Come Dancing family this year,” she said. “One of my biggest dreams is to be part of this great show and I can’t wait to get started!”
Nadiya is one of three brand new professional female dancers joining this year’s Strictly Come Dancing: also taking part is Australian Dianne Buswell and South Wales dancer Amy Dowden.
Dianne is Australian Open Champion and four-time Amateur Australian Open Finalist. She has appeared on Dancing with the Stars Australia and has been part of the Burn The Floor production on Broadway since 2011.
Amy is the current British National Champion and one of the highest-ranking Ballroom and Latin American professional dancers in the UK. Amy is also a four-time British National Finalist and in 2015, she reached the semi-final of the World Championship.
